FAQ

Are you planning your trip to Lapland with Quartier Libre? Find answers to frequently asked questions about booking additional activities here.

  • Are the activities guaranteed?

Activities are offered subject to availability and favorable weather conditions. Dates and times for certain activities, such as Northern Lights hunting or icebreaker cruises, will be confirmed directly on site. Options are offered weekly based on availability and weather conditions.

  • Are the activities suitable for children?

Most of our activities are open to the public, with reduced rates for children under 12 (northern lights hunting, icebreaker cruise, ice fishing, Storforsen Falls excursion). Some thrill activities, such as ice buggying and snowmobiling, are reserved for adults.

  • How do I book an activity?

Please contact your tour leaders or the hotel reception to reserve your time slot. Some activities require a minimum number of participants to be confirmed, so we advise you to register upon arrival.

  • What happens if the snowmobile or buggy is damaged?

A deductible of SEK 15,000 applies in case of damage. For complete peace of mind, we offer full deductible waiver for €35 per driver. This coverage must be purchased and paid for before the start of your activities in Swedish Lapland.

  • Are the activities conducted in French?

The excursion to Storforsen Falls includes a French-speaking guide, and the films are shown in French. For sporting activities such as snowmobiling or ice buggying, explanations and supervision are provided in English by English-speaking guides.
